Dash and Monitor Panel lights are dim...
The dash and monitor panel indicator lights on my '99 Country Coach Magna are dim and it is impossible to see them in the daylight... I can see them at night so I know they are working... They are just very dim...

Anyone have any ideas of what I can do to "brighten" them up???

Is there a dimmer switch you can adjust?

Mike there is a knob on the headlight switch that I can turn and brighten or dim the lights in the gauges...

But the indicator lights such as "check engine", "hot engine", "engine power down", and even the turn signal indicators are so dim they are difficult to see in the daylight... After dark can see them fine, so I know they are working, just not bright enough to see in the daylight...

The Ol' Magna is 10 years old, so thought maybe it might help to take off all the wires and "brighten up" the connections... may have oxidized and built up enough resistance to drop the voltage... Since it is all the indicator lights tho, maybe I have lost my grounding connection... thought maybe some other Country Coach owner has already figgered out how to fix...

Am open for suggestions if you have any ideas...

Thanks, Buck

I have the same problem, did you find a fix?

I have a 04 fleetwood flair f-53 with the same problem. I believe it is a bad dash design .

Dim monitor panel lights
I guess if something doesn't last indefinitely, it qualifies for criticism as a "bad design". However, it did work for a long time, and merely pointing fingers at someone's prior work doesn't really help with a solution. In my search for a fix, I discovered "" where they have modern LED replacement bulbs for the tired and old incandescent bulbs. Others with the same problem as mine have found success with the new bulbs, so I'm going to try that as a solution. Constructive advice is still sought and appreciated.
