Adjustable armrests
I have a 2017 BayStar. The captain’s chair armrests are not adjustable and sit too high for my co-pilot. I know they can be replaced with adjustable ones but I can’t seem to locate any.

I’ve tried BraddandHall without success. All the RV salvage yards only want to sell the entire chair.

Any ideas?

The color of the material that I currently have is “VT-17-320 leather A ILO Standard A” from my order sheet. But any color would do as I could have an upholstery shop switch them out.

I only need 1pair. The drivers chair fits me fine and she never drives.

I sent my arm rests back to Flexsteel and they made them adjustable then mailed them back. Turnaround was about a week.

That might work. How long ago did you do that?

And what was the cost?

Flexsteel is no longer in the RV business so doubtful they be of any help at this point. If you get a response from Flexsteel, let us know

That’s why I was asking Nomad Bull how long ago he had his armrests converted.

I’ll let you all know what Flexsteel has to say.

See post #4 on this thread.

I ordered mine from same place 3 years ago.

Good luck.

I contacted BraddandHall and since Flexsteel is out of the RV furniture business they couldn’t help me.

Have you pulled them off to see if the "clocking" on them can be changed, maybe by cutting and rewelding the tabs in position. I've never looked at a fixed one to know how it's "located" on the frame.

Roadwire made the OEM seats in our coach. They also do custom work. We had the opportunity to contact them recently and they were super responsive.

I had mine done in 2018. If I recall correctly it was about $80 per pair.

Ok. Finally found a shop that can convert the armrests. Not cheap ($150/ pair) but you can’t take it with you.

Bauer RV Upholstery in Dubuque, Iowa. Lisa has been wonderful to work with so far.
