How to remove Sharp microwave oven

Our microwave just quit. It lasted 16 years but now has to be removed. Having huge problem getting it out. Anyone have experience in this. We have a 2005 Winnebago journey 39F. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Would you post a pic? It will depend on how it is installed.

Model number of the Sharp would help also. Just replaced my Sharp R-1874 convection microwave. It had two long bolts in the bottom at an angle that needed to be loosened then two screws in each side of the case ( not factory) then you hinge the microwave down and lift it off the mounting bracket. All screws ar only visible if you remove the grease filters in the bottom of the microwave. My motorhome has a has a spice rack above the microwave that just sits on the top of the microwave and had to be removed first but it was not screwed in.

Any chance you have the '59 second' problem? See this thread: Ok, who knows about Microwave/Convection ovens?

If so, it's easily fixable (see above thread).

boltdave, you have to remove the wood trim above the microwave to access the angle bracket that Winnebago added at the top along with removing the two long screws from the bottom. It is heavy so put something under it to support it.

In my 2006 36G Journey the microwave hinged down at the back as mentioned previously.
However, there were no long angled screws. Instead, mine had two screws in the top of the microwave/ convection oven that were accessed by prying off the 1/8 inch plywood floor of the cabinet above the microwave.
I bought this MH in 2015, and it definitely looked like a factory install. No extraneous holes or pry marks.

Good luck
