Our Fall Rally will not be held at Carolina Pines RV Resort due to policy changes. It was discussed by the group at the Spring Rally.
It was decided to go to The Hideaway Campground in Myrtle Beach.
We went to the Campground on Friday. It is located on the Intercostal Waterway. It has pull through and back in sites with concrete pads. All sites have patios, picnic tables, and fire rings.
They also have 4 cabins, an amenities building with a kitchen. We were advised that we could have access to the building each night at no cost.
Unfortunately, the General Manager was not available. We will be able to meet with her next week to confirm all arrangements, and update everybody.

We finally where able to speak with the General Manager of the camp ground. We confirmed the dates for arriving Thursday November 10th and leaving Monday November 14th.
Rates will be $45.00 plus tax for standard pull through, with full hook up. Deposit is one night rate of $50.40 including tax

Sites will be put on hold as of July 15, 2022 and if not confirmed will be released on
October 1, 2022. Sites can be booked prior to July 15, 2022 based on availability and the group
rates will be honored
*Upgraded waterfront sites if available at a discounted rate of $50 + tax, waterfront sites
are not on hold and based on the availability*
Cancellation Policy –
● reservations canceled more than 30 days from check in date will receive a full
refund
● reservations canceled within 30 days of check in date will be charged a $35 fee
● reservations canceled within 7 days of check in date will forfeit a one-night site fee
plus tax
**Rate will be honored should guest choose to stay longer or check in earlier based on
availability**
*Activity Building available to group during the length of their stay. Gas grill, griddle and trash
cans provided, and trash picked up during the day, otherwise clean-up of activity building
provided by the group*
*Please verify if you will be needing the gas grill or gas griddle and what days you will
need the activity building, so that our staff can plan for janitorial needs and have the
propane tank ready for use*

I just called the hideaway campground for a reservation under carolina campers and they have no rally scheduled for November 10 thru the 14th. Can someone update me on what is going on. Many thanks.

Can you please tell us what policy change made you move to another resort?

Hank; The campground did not put the Rally in their book yet.
This was resolved this afternoon 6/17/2022

You can call they will serve you. I think 3 or 4 have made resevations

The rally was changed after Carolina Pines increased prices for our dinner. The costs going to exceed $100.00 per couple which we felt was outrageous.

It is now scheduled for the Hideaway RV Resort in Myrtle Beach area. It is located on the Intercoastal Waterway, actually in the Socesstee section

As a professional caterer I’ll just say $100 per couple will get you a decent, not great meal. At that price I’d bet they’re barely breaking even. I’d be suspicious of the quality of anything cheaper. Food service prices have gone way up and many will be taking shortcuts to keep low prices.
