I think he's talking about the Diesel engine generator lock. Lefty loosey unlocks and righty righty locks. Only mine 1/4 turn moves the lock and another 1/4 turn pulls it in tight.

The screen is blank? I have no idea about that. There is a u shaped tool that comes with the radio paperwork in Thor bag. Maybe slide the unit out and check that something hasn't come unplugged.
