If it looks water tight all around it could be ok. I would look at the top seal and see how it looks as that is where I have the most trouble and the place it is most likely to leak and check the top...

I just took my cheap couch built by Seating Technology in my high end Brookstone 366 and rolled over and rebuilt it with a sheet of plywood. Much better, it took the sag out of it.
