Well, we discovered the problem. When we changed the start batterys one of the small wires was put on the wrong post! Changed the wire position and bingo. Dumb mistake.
Problem solved.

Trans wont go into gear after a battery change. All wires are tight and correct.

A friend of ours is in Las Vegas and can't get the drivers front jack up. It's a 2000 Journey. He's tried to lift it and wont budge. Fluid is toped off.

you need to replace the outer and inner bushings. They are a 4 piece on each slide ram.
Best take it to a pro that does it. You can do the outers but the inners are a bugger without the know how...
