My fresh water drain connection is weeping right at where the threaded PVC connects to the tank. I used some plumbing putty to temporarily stop it while we are parked. Any suggestions on what to use...

thanks to all for suggestions. I got most of it off. Used a paint scraper, a putty knife and a wire brush. Not a lot of room between exhaust and rear tires ( which is why I say most).

Tow dolly is less expensive, but can be a hassle getting the vehicle secure on dolly in the rain or weather. If you have different vehicles that you tow it would save you money.
