Just make sure the rack is beefed up a bit. I got the one that is 500 lb capacity. Make sure rack and receiver are rated for the weight you put on them. Single receiver racks are rated up to 5 or 6...

I didn’t remove original stripes. Sanded them to rough them up. Also hit them a wheel on a Brillo like wheel on my drill.

Removing them is too much work.

What you want to do is rough them up...

I didn’t remove original stripes. Way too much work to do that. Just sand them down and clean them up good. Rough them up a bit with 180 grit sandpaper. Clean. Tape. Spray. Bunch light coats.
