we got back from the canyon yesterday...spent night 1 [fri] at mather camp ground ...unit is a rockwood minilite 2109s.....thermo set at 65* ... temp outside sat. morn 39*.... propane heater cycled...

I know of some boys from Edmonton that brought back a 4ft sand shark from b.c and laid it on the sand at an inland lake and then set up chairs nearby and listened to yikes and dams and yowels......

range vent

got the darn thing open...those tabs are not in a chanel that slide up ...I pushed up with way more pressure than I would have thought neccessary ...the tabs then bent up/arcing out... vent flap now...

range vent outside cap on forest river ultra lite

trying to get the range vent fan to blow outside, but there's a cover under the cap outside.... part of winterizing I guess, but darned if I can get it out of there...there are two knobby things on...

I think slideouts in the shorter tt's have pulled in a lot of buyers [like me]... being on these trailers sites ...like forest river and googling rigs that people are talking about made me realize...

if i see 18 wheelers

pulling in to a rest stop, if I need to sleep i pull in and hide between them to avoid pan handlers..... it's noisy mostly, but I can run my generator for ac no problem which in the s.west is a must....

I dragged ponies around for 20 yrs and a dog for 10, now its just me and my truck burning up the miles visiting the great vistas this country offers ... my hiking shoes, my satellite tv and fresh...
