That’s exactly what I did. Thanks for the suggestion. Ended up needing a few more slits in order to get the expansion I needed. Should be better than new now that it is stainless!

About every 3500 or 4000 miles I find that the engine coolant level is below the viewing port glass. I’ll end up adding about 16 ounces until the port window is covered. We are at about 25k miles....
