I know on the Ford chassis that the ABS light will trip if a wiring harness chassis ground is bad....

Might look at other B+/C manufactures such as Coach house, Phoenix Cruisers, and Nexus Vipers, just to name a few. Some of the above have lower heights than most class C units.

Even if your generator can't cover the amperage, you can use the 2nd unit only on a separate 20amp cord to shore power and get by on the 15k in transit.

The AC unit that might work is a Mach 8 polar cub. Pulls 11.7 amps while cooling. Your main AC probably pulls 16 amps. Heat pump might be a bit more. You can run both on your Onan 4K as I think it...
