Old Scout, yes those are slide trim pieces. I can't help but find it interesting and aggravating. I'll be getting some fiberglass repair soon (don't forget the receiver pin for the "toad" towbar...)...

Just wanted to throw this in here...

I think it's notable to report that the corrosion only exists on the trim pieces on the slides. This tells me there may be a grounding issues somehow. Anyone have further input?

Corrosion issue on outer sidewall aluminum trim
