Old Scout, yes those are slide trim pieces. I can't help but find it interesting and aggravating. I'll be getting some fiberglass repair soon (don't forget the receiver pin for the "toad" towbar...)...

Just wanted to throw this in here...

I think it's notable to report that the corrosion only exists on the trim pieces on the slides. This tells me there may be a grounding issues somehow. Anyone have further input?

Corrosion issue on outer sidewall aluminum trim

Has anyone had an issue with corrosion bubbling up the paint on your aluminum trim pieces? I’d show images of mine but this forum doesn’t make it easy to just copy and paste an image or two.
