I was able to get a better look at the travel yesterday. The black tank is built in to the bathroom above the floor. There appears to be room to expand on.

Well was able to get the wiring situated correctly! I did have the left and right lights switched at first but that was an easy fix.

I was able to get a needle nose pliers around the fitting without damaging it and backed it out. I sealed it with gas dope and reattached it. No more leaks.
