+1 on the foam, although they really have nowhere to go even if they get in that compartment. Where I’ve seen droppings and have since screened off…takes some patience, is the battery compartment....

Yes, very annoying. A small double loop spring from the Lowe’s hardware section and a short screw holds it where it should be. Hope that helps. I’ll post a pic next time I get to my rig.
