I have an ‘02 7370 on Spartan. It’s 100 gallons on mine. The manual says when it indicates empty, there’s 20 gallons left. I’ve Ops tested that and it’s accurate.

It’s a demand pump so shouldn’t run all the time

I was just getting into this system a few weeks ago. The pump has a pressure switch, so it should come on when the key is turned on, then turn off after vacuum has built. You probably have a leak....

In taking the radiator out of its frame, it was apparent it had been removed previously as it was loaded with silicone that made it hard to remove the frame.
