Never used one but from what others have told me...

Never used one but from what others have told me they had damage from straps rubbing or from cover flapping around. Others said it was bulky and very hard to get in place and never used it again.

You do it by hand I hold the lower part of vent...

You do it by hand I hold the lower part of vent to protect paint and just push it in and out. Then I go turn on dryer the big stuff flies out and I push brush in while running more stuff flies out.
