are the brakes on a 1998 fleetwood southwindgood brakes for the stopping of the rv. it seems i have to apply lots of pressure for stopping quickly. also what is a good 2 camera backup...

chassis disconnect for 1998 southwind

does anyone know where the voltage to energize chassis disconnect comes from? coach disconnect works ok but chassis will not clunk [energize]

I replaced the ird/e and it did not help. Called intellitec and they said I should put on the diesel bird. It finally works. Thank al of you for your help and suggestions:):cool:

Chassis battery

When I disconnect house batteries I cannot start engine. Also if house batteries are not hooked up my running lights will not come on. I bought this motorhome 1998 southwind storm a few years back....

brand new batteries, chassis and coach. all...

brand new batteries, chassis and coach. all terminals cleaned. Not using shore power. this is with engine running.

chassis batt not charging

i have a 1998 southwind with 454 chevrolet. My chassis battery is not charging but coach is. volt on chassis is 11.9 and coach 13.8. anyone have any ideas why chassis will not charge?

i have 13.8 volts on house batteries and 12 volts...

i have 13.8 volts on house batteries and 12 volts on chassis battery. the same voltage on the round solenoid

the chassis battery is not charging.on side of relay that goes to coach and reading 13.8v. the #2 wire goes to another relaywhich shows same voltage. the other side goes to chassis battery and...

can anyone tell me what battery cables go to main battery and which ones go to the home batteries. I have one cable that is white and one red with about 8 gauge wire
