Was curious about the same thing on my 2017 Coachman Mirada 31FW and emailed Coachman parts office at Coachman and they sent back the type and blown up pictures of the mechanism on both my slides.

This weight included wife, 80% full of gas and all gear and a full tank of water. What was not in coach was me (200lbs), food and cloths. I filled the water tank to make up for the food and cloths....

I have the 2011 26P and have had very few problems on the 11 k miles I have driven. Just a few minor problems. I expect that out of any vechile.
