I am kind of confused by this thread? There is no boiler overheat protection on any absorption fridge unless it has the Fridge Defend.

Is this referencing using a hot water...

I am not sure what happened to my Atwood service manual so I am not able to find the SOV operation voltage now.

Solenoid Valve (SOV)

The simplest thing to do is put 12VDC to the solenoid operated valves (SOV), if you hear it click, but it does not issue gas, there may be an obstruction in it?
