Thank you for the help. I thought that the filter on mine only fed the ice maker (which we don't use), but I could be wrong. In my case I think the jumper would be more work than the extra half...

Does anyone know if there is a plug or cap available to put in place of the water filter/housing to save antifreeze when winterizing? Thank you.
