I may be wrong but aren’t amps “pulled” by the device rather than “pushed” to the device? I really doubt his car charger actually uses 2 x 50 or 100 amps AC.

You’re right. It would instead provide two 30 amp hot legs. Again, my suggestion is to use this “in an emergency”. At least he would be able to power us car’s charger.

That would be a likely time for the diaphragm to rupture.
You probably also have a 2 stage regulator. The high pressure side would likely give an audible sound if ruptured vs. the low pressure side....
