Should be an easier job if you don't have a tag axle. park it on some ramps should allow the room. half round u joints are the last pic of my last post, referring to they yoke ears. easier to install.

The u joints on our K2 chassis were 1810 series. i pulled mine to replace the airbags and figured Id change them after 20 years. according to spicer the bearing caps are 43ft lbs and the strap bolts...
