Did all repairs myself, after unit is on the ground the top panel comes off and you can access everything. On mine the wire harness was long enough that no wiring had to be disconnected to work on it.

I just did an in frame on mine the valve cover gasket was reusable but the book said not to reuse the adapter gasket that is in-between the vale cover and head so I replaced that one, also no leaks.
