Thankfully this happened at low speed and close to home. Factory reminded me that tow bars have 10 year 70,000 mile lifetime. This one was purchased in 2006.

When I boondock at EAA's Camp Scholler in Oshkosh, I run the AC and generator full time. Normal current draw is around 20 Amps. I estimate I use about 8 gallons in 24 hours.
