Spare ripped the square tube bumper off my fiver and dragged tire and wheel down the freeway. Not pretty but at least it didn’t come completely off and hit a car.

Easiest way to tell is to use a dvom and check for continuity from the wires to chassis ground. If continuity is read the wires are ground.

I had the same issue with my Conquest of the leak...

I had the same issue with my Conquest of the leak under the shower. I found the drain was not tightened at all. Pull the shower surround and there will be able to access the drain.

Having done the same thing on a towable I owned my recommendation is to go with the good stuff like Armstrong so you only have to do it once having found this out the hard way.
