There's a lot of thoughtful posts here. Cost/benefit ratio has to be considered when making any improvement for improved mileage. One area that would be low cost is to manage airflow under the coach....

Yup. Remove the cap and use very little grease. There is a seal on the pitman shaft not a boot. If you get carried away you can damage the seal. Worst case, you push the seal out of the housing.
