For towing we have a 4x4 V8 Dodge Dakota 4 door short bed. It does great, has plenty of space in the rear seats and the cross bed box holds all our towing equipment and spares(oil, compressor etc)....

I pulled the Dakota once and ended with a dead battery, probably caused by the BlueOx brake. The next day I fitted a charge line...problem solved.
