My 1990 Rexall Airex 35

This is my new to me Rexall Airex 35. Been sitting outside for 10 years, but is in amazing good shape, only 38000 miles on it. Had some work done to restore the engine, running fine now. Virtually everything works, all the inside lights, most of the outside, the freezer, the refrig. When I get the propane system tested and filled, we will see about the stove, hot water and heater. Air works too. TV works, I may have to go to garage sales and get VCR tapes! Also, I am amazed that the nothing leaked, living in the NW, leaking roofs are the standard, but this one was all dry inside.

Nice looking rig. We had a tv above the doghouse, as yours does.

Ours fell out, glanced off the steering wheel before landing on, and breaking, my wife's leg.

We installed a flat screen. Also, the big TV was 45lbs. The flatscreen is 5lbs. Anything to remove weight!

Good luck with your project!

Yup, love those old Rexhall rigs, simple, reliable, and does pretty durn good on the highways. We just bought 97 Sidekick that we'll be towing behind ours. First time ever towing a car so a bit nervous, but since the car weighs so little I don't think our MH should have too much trouble.

That's a great looking rig and toad! Have fun out there!

Got the Blue Ox home, setup my compressor bin, removed the 18 year old TV and mounted a 32" flat screen. next project is flooring and set new Domedic 310 series toilet. Took about 40 miles down the road to get blood back into my knuckles LOL drives great 29,380 miles on the clock and 44 hrs on the genny.

So much for computer smarts, so much for rotating pics..

Actually not an Aerbus, American Clipper was its own line and had slightly lighter Spartan ES 1000 chassis, an Allison 1000 tranny and a Cummins ISB 260 engine.

A good looking rig.

The things you find out every day ! !
The owners manual has good info but it could be better.

Thanks for letting me know.

To bad Rexhall is out of business.

Two partners ran the company. Rex and Hall were in their names I believe. They had innovative stuff and we liked their living room designs for sure.
The 2001 American Clipper, according to a salesman and former Rexhall rep, was one of the least expensive entry level diesel pushers at that time. (low $80's maybe?)

Yours still looks good.

This started because there was a switch on the dash that didn't seem to do anything, and the backup camera stopped working on our last trip. I am bad at the before thing, so the first image is after I had spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Turns out the switch was not connected, so I used it to control the radio without having to have it started or in aux. The BUC was a fuse issue.

Our Aerbus

Our 1994 Rexhall Aerbus pulling a 2007 Subaru Outback XT, somewhere in AZ.. The other three pics featuring the beautiful scenery of Northern California's Pacific Coast Highway and my lovely better half, Khin (& Callie).

We purchased our rig three years ago from an elder whose wife had passed on. His heart was broken and he spoke of the good memories they had accumulated while RV'ing.. When all was said and done, he ended up selling it to us for a pittance because he sensed that we could revitalize the spirit in the coach he had come to love.

We've made several mods (removed and replaced TV/anchor) along with repairs due to internal water leaks. Our Aerbus has proven itself quite reliable and strong. We love it!
