Norcold fridge AC heater element

The AC heater element has 2 connections that connect to rear power board 1 for lo other for hi terminals does it make a difference which wire goes to each? Both wires coming from element are grey with no markings at all and no markings on the element other than Norcold 630811.

If the board is the same as on our Norcold 1200, then no, it doesn't make any difference. You could connect both to either terminal if you wanted to.

I believe the boards are the same just that 1200 use 2 elements 821 uses 1 element.
Thank you.

After 2006 boards are the same

Heater elements are NOT
Depending on fridge Serial Number there are 2 different elements for the N821
Norcold AC Heating Element 630811 (fits newer style N6/ N8/ N1095/ 600/ 6000/ 900/ 9000 models) - The Norcold Guy

Heater elements are 'resistive' load so which lead goes where doesn't matter.
One lead on AC HT Lo and other lead on AC HT Hi
