Mobility challenged

I am not much of a poster, but I have been reading all the good info on this site for the last several years. So, when I had a question, I figured this was THE BEST source for an answer.
My niece was recently diagnosed with Leu Gehrig Disease. She is handling the news well and wants to make the most of the time when she will be able to stay active. She is planning on selling her home and buying an RV to do some serious travel and she has a devoted significant-other that will be helping her. The question is, what should she be shopping for?
In my mind, the choice would be between a good sized Class A with a toad, or a fifth wheel with a nice truck to pull it with. She does not have unlimited funds, but her home is in the SF bay area, so she should be getting a nice cash bump from it's sale.

Looking forward to hearing what you good folks out there have to say.

Thanks,
Bill

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. Read the various threads and ask questions as they come up or add info if you can.

I think you will find a Class C or Class A will be much less work when it comes to setting up and taking camp down and this may be a consideration.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

Ideally, you might be able to find a handicap accessible RV used. There aren't many out there but you may be lucky. Eventually, I'd guess she'd need a wheelchair. They're expensive to put in but if you could find used.....
