2003 KZ Sportsmen TV Question

I just bought a 2003 KZ Sportsmen model 3103 (our first travel trailer) and have a question about the main TV connection. It raised the antenna up and ran a scan for channels. (Live in Dallas so should have found something.) There is also an antenna connection in the bedroom with a 12 volt jack? I have not tested the bedroom yet. There are also two connections outside, one on each side. I assume the slide side is an input for cable or satellite and the other on awning side is an output. So with only one at each location for does the system know off air or portable satellite plugged in to the jack at the rear? Thank you.

If you are using the antenna make sure the the amplifier is turned on. you should find a little back button next to the coax fitting on the main connector you should have a green light if it on. I will post a picture shortly.

Good luck.

Would turning it on in the bedroom also effect the main tv also? Bedroom jack is the only one with the button.

Yes. you only have one booster and in your case it looks like it in the bedroom. You may have to turn the antenna as well to get the best signal.

You will only need a converter box if it an old type TV. IF its an lcd or led then it should have a Built-in ATSC/NTSC HDTV Tuners.

With this new digital signal you have to be dead on with the anntena to recieve a station. I got a King contol digital signal finder for x-mas but still have the cover on the MH so have not been able to test it yet.
