Lifestyle by Evergreen LS37CKSL MODEL

Before buying a tow vehicle, I’m trying to get an educated idea of what my trailer weighs packed and ready to roll.

I’m trying to find someone who has actually weighed their Lifestyle LS37CKSL FULLY LOADED. I do not have a truck to use to pull the camper down to the scales so I was hoping to get the information from someone who has weighed there 5th wheel.

Any help would be appreciated.

You know you will need a dually to carry that pin weight. That is a heavy 5th wheel. So you want someone to tell you their 5th wheel weight 17,500lbs?

Are you hoping to tow this with a SRW truck? Well even the 2020 redesigned SRW trucks do not have that capability. Your pin weight will be 4,000lbs. No SRW truck can carry that much weight. That will likely exceed the rear axle rating and the tire rating.

Just a rough example:

250/2500 trucks will have a rear axle rating of 6,200 - 6,600lbs.

350/3500 trucks will have a rear axle rating of 7,200 - 7600lbs

Dually trucks will have a rear axle rating of 9,600lbs.

Get use to the idea you need a dually.

Fully loaded can mean different things to each person. Just use the trailers GVWR and you should be fine. You shouldn't weigh more than that anyway.

That 5er is almost 40’ with a listed payload of 2,182#, most likely it
Will be at GVWR or more.

4000 or.more on the pin. A 3500 drw is minimum a 450 or 4500 would be safer.

You make up your mind yet on what truck you will be looking at? It will not be an easy purchase as all trucks are going to be powerful, quiet, and ride ok. Not great but ok.
