Post Help! 2019 or 2020 Holiday Rambler

We plan to buy our first Class A RV within the next 2 weeks. I've narrowed my choices down to a 2019 Holiday Rambler Admiral 29M with 7k miles for 85k (Private Party) or a 2020 Holiday Rambler Admiral 28A with 4k miles for 89k (Dealer).

The physical interior differences are the table configuration, seating color (light tan and dark brown, door location.

Both share the same wheel base, a Ford Engine: 6.8L Triton V10 6-Speed, Automatic w/Overdrive, Alternator: 175 AMP, Torque: 460 lb.-ft. @ 3,000 RPM
Horsepower: 320 HP @ 3,900 RPM.

Has anyone bought either of these models? Good or bad? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you!

Rev Group Inc purchased Monaco/Holiday Rambler back in 2013. Rev Group rebadges some of their Fleetwood products with Monaco/Holiday Rambler names. These Holiday Rambler coaches share only the name with legacy coaches manufactured by Monaco Coach Inc.
Your best bet would be to figure out which Fleetwood coach is the same as the Holiday Rambler Admiral.

Having said that I've had the opportunity to drive a new 2020 Ford E450 with the new 7.3L V8 engine and new Select Shift transmission. It is a much better combination that the older Triton V-10 and transmission. The new V8 has a much better torque curve and combined with the new transmission it pulls the hills much better. And its better on fuel economy.

I would make sure any gas engine coach I was purchasing has this new engine and transmission.
Hope this helps!

We have the Admiral 32S. Ours is a 2019. You will enjoy driving it a lot more once you replace front and rear sway bars. Check it out good. For a while I had to repair a lot of things. Ours came from the factory with the black tank valve installed backwards, rather than wait for dealer I repaired stuff myself. As far as the V 10 engine I have no complaints other than mileage is about 7 per gallon. It has tons of power for us, I’ve never driven the new V8 but heard the mileage is about the same. If you like it buy it, dealers are useless so take that into consideration. Good luck
