I'll check out the "RV Life" app

Finding Propane

Glancing through the options and not seeing it I will ask the experts, is there a way to search for propane along the trip? I understand along the highways will probably not be a problem but what about once you are off that route and into more rural areas?

Most campgrounds(not so much Mom and Pop) carry propane, as do some gas stations and the local propane supplier. I have never had a problem finding propane but I also follow the 1/2 tank rule and start looking.

If you are in need just ask the campground owner and they will direct you to the local supplier.

Thanks for the reply Sue, those are all things I do but was hoping that the Software had that option.

I think Allstays may have that option, I have no idea how accurate it is. There is probably some website also but a lot of websites aren't working very well since Google changed something. The maps have stopped working and I guss no one has figured out how to get them working again. Might be a $$$$ problem.

Editing dates during a trip

When I created my trip I guessed at what my schedule would be. Now I am days into the trip and find that my future stops have the wrong dates, but I can't edit them. Should I copy the trip and edit the copy? Or??

Once off the main track propane can be a little spotty to get. Whereas I can find it ok but sometimes the propane business may not be open every day, or even all business hours. Also in some cases only one person at the business is certified and they may not be around when you roll in.

When towing the 5th I always carry a small (2 gallon) cylinder for the BBQ and as a backup to the two regular 30 lb cylinders on board. In the MH, I don't really have a safe place to carry a spare cylinder so I just watch the level in the tank and plan ahead.

I don't normally use dates but I ran a test and the only date that I can change is the start date. The other stop dates are controlled by the number of nights at each location.

Adding a POI (casino) as a stop on a trip?

We enjoy spending (camping ) at casinos. Most don't have cg's connected to them. Is there a way to add them as a stop on a trip?

Thanks

Yes, you need to zoom in, put the cursor on the spot and the right click. You can then add custom stop.
