Harvest Host and RV Trip Wizard
What is the best way to incorporate harvest host sites into the trip planning rv wizard as I see it doesnt include this as a preference?

Go to your Harvest Host website and get the address of the place you want to stay (plus any other info from the host re: how to find their place) and copy that address to the search bar at the top of the RVTW screen. When the map zooms to that location, right click on it to create a Custom Stop, and name and place that new Stop at the appropriate location in the route you are planning.

I use Harvest Hosts and TW all the time. When including a HH in my trip I simply type the address in the search bar. A little box pops up with a choice to click for more details. Once clicked it gives me the option to add a custom stop as well as the ability to add any hosting information I need to know in the comments box.

I have also found many of the HH can be searched in RVTW by the facility name. Typing in the name of the winery sometimes shows up on the list and saves typing all the details of the address.

Its time Harvest Hosts are just added to the software, there are twice as many harvest hosts then there is Passport america campgrounds. Sure you can search for the address of a Host on TW but what if they didnt list ANY campground on TW, how convenient would that be to use multiple sources to search out campgrounds?

You have to have a partner to be able to dance. Trip Wizard has made overtures to Harvest Host in the past, and Harvest Host has declined because of the way they do their membership process and the way they protect access to members only. Maybe sometime in the future, but so far HH doesn't want a partner.

I'd like to see what HH has to offer BEFORE and pay for a membership. In other words, where are HH locations and are there any locations that we would actually use. So far, HH has been uncooperative. Oh well, I'll just save the membership cost.

We just used HH for the first time when we had one open night in the Orlando area. Stayed at an organic farm. It was a fun evening with a couple other folks staying in the same place. You have to be ready for one night off the grid. We look forward to many more in the future.
We subscribed 6 months ago and glad we did. Try it for one year (less than $100) if you don't use it or don't like the stops then cancel the subscription.
It is a unique model and nothing like making a reservation at a camp ground. I could see where comingling the HH with other campgrounds in one app, like RVTW, would get very confusing and cause people to have the wrong expectations of the expereince. I would prefer keeping them seperate to preserve the model. Doesn't take long to plug it in once you have found a spot on the HH site.
