Kwickee model 28 single step

Hello, I have researched a bunch of old post concerning the Kwickee step motor. Have found a lot of Dorman window drive motor part numbers that may or may not be an exact fit.
My coach is a 2003 model with the origional single step. The Kwickee part number on my failed motor is 10312040.
A call to Lippert who bought out Kwickee found out that the replacement part number is 379608, a internet search found that this part number ranges from $150.00 to $215.00 which is a lot of money for a window drive motor.
During search I found a Stromberg Carlson motor pn. SP-1636669 for $72.00 but a call to their support would not assure a exact replacement fit.
My question is; can anyone state that they have replaced either the Kwickee part number or the Lippert part number with either a Stromberg Carlson or a Dorman part number.
Have a great RVing day.

Dell City has the motor, drive gear and wiring harness for those steps for $205. Not knowing what wears on them, it may be a good deal.

Kwikkee Step Problem

I have 32 step and probably use the same as yours. I bought a motor from Advance Auto for $39. It was for 94-95 Taurus. It solved my problem. Order one at the store and when in,usually next take the old one to compare. Good Luck Hugh
