Any KZ owners out there

We have an 07 39ft Montego Bay and have not had any problems with it yet. We are really happy with our 5er and just was wondering if we really got lucky or if there are other KZ owners out there that have had good results with their RV. I almost never see any comments on KZ rv's

We just ordered a Durango 1500 last month at the Hershey show.
Can't wait.

Just do a search on most of the RV forums and you'll see many rave reviews and good comments about KZ trailers and fivers. Even those that have had problems speak very highly about how KZ handled the problems and warranty issues. It's one of the main reason we decided to order from them. From my conversations with different dealers that carry KZ, it's one of the only companies they all have had good things to say about how they treat the dealers, too.

That can't be said about some of the larger manufacturers. There's a couple names you can do a Google search on and end up with pages of complaints and problems.

Last week when I called Family Camping to schedule my state inspection on my Montego Bay he was suprised when I mentioned that he had sold a Durango to someone from Florida and wondered how I knew about it. It's too bad that you don't live in this area because they have the most honest and best service I have ever seen.

I met Bill (the owner) and Brett (the service manager) at the Hershey show. Really nice guys. We went to the show on Thursday which happened to be the day it rained all day. It was kind of slow so they ended up sitting around with me in the trailer for awhile BS'n about different things. Both very honest and up front with information. It was a refreshing experience since I'm used to dealing with the common "sales holes" you find on most RV lots.

I happen to have a KZ dealer only a couple miles from my home, Giant Recreation World. So far they have installed the Superglide hitch in my truck and will soon be adding the Firestone R4Tech rear suspension. The rep from the KZ factory who was at the Hershey show said they were a good dealer when it come to warranty issues with KZ trailers. They've had no problems with them. Granted, I hope I don't have any problems, but it's good to know I have somebody nearby.

I actually just set up a new forum due to reading disapointment from other KZ owners that we had no forum to discuss our trailers, mods, issues and specific questions. Please stop by and contribute, send suggestions, etc... It will take some active contributions to help make it useful for current and new owners so thank you in advance if you're willing to help:

looks like pornographers have taken over your website. I just jumped over to it and it appears to be only porno threads. What can be done to clean it up?

I was really disapointed when I went to check it out. I am so pleased with my KZ and I was looking forward to talking to other KZ owners to see how they like theirs.

don't google

you were right. If you google kz owners forum you wind up with the porno filled version. If you type in the correct address you get the "good" one. the administrator did a wonderful job of setting it up. Now we just need a lot of KZ owners to get on board. The more members we get on the forum, the better the forum will be! I was on the Cardinal Owners website for several years and have seen 1st hand how helpful and entertaining a good manufacturer specific website can be, and I've seen instances where a lot of money was saved by exchanges of information between owners. If a problem crops up on a specific unit, chances are it will occur on others of the same model or type. If you know what to look for in advance it can save a lot of grief. Lets all get behind this Kz owners forum and make it a huge success!

Have an '03 Durango 275RK. Bought it new and love it! Have had no issues with it and would buy another K-Z any time.

Happy Camping!

picked up our new Stone Ridge 38fl last monday and took it on a "shakedown cruise" wednesday. EVERYTHING worked! I've had 3 other 5ers and always had at least one problem on the new units. This one was perfect right out of the box. Very impressed so far.
