Wanna bet? I have 5 on each side, so 10 total.
Four come on with the running lights.
Two come on with the brakes.
Two come on with the 4-ways.
And two with reverse.

A stick cut to the proper length works just as good and does not costy you $43 US!

I know I've got a few wooden broken garden tool handles I could cut to fit between the pedal & the seat. Just need to put rubber protectors (like you find on the bottom of a cane) on the ends to keep it from slipping. I could use this as a back up to the Velcro'd Blink camera idea I'm thinking of implementing.

Another benefit of using the emergency flashers is keeping the switch contacts working. An aged and unused switch can get bumped and the contacts don't "make" again, leaving the lights inoperative. If this might be a problem, operate the switch many, many, times to clean the contacts.

Step on the brake and operate turn signals in the car, if you do not have diodes installed in your connector cable the car brake and turn signals will light. If the car can turn on the MH lights ,you should be in good shape. The only wire that you should have a diode in is the running lights. Check your car light on scheduled maintenance times, if turn signal light is out your flasher rate will change.
If separate bulbs have been installed in the car for MH signaling this will not work.

I don’t. I check the flashers only. Haven’t had a problem
In 5+ years being full time

It's been a while but I did want to circle back & let you know what worked for me. I did go with the Velcro'd Blink camera on the bumper. I used the 3M Command Velcro so the adhesive wouldn't mar my bumper & could be removed. I access the camera via the app on my phone.
Thanks to all for your suggestions. iRV2 members are the best!

And I was just thinking about this thread yesterday when ending a solo trip. I checked my running lights, directionals, and used the hazard lights to check my brake lights and felt satisfied that all was well.
You’re right, NLOVNIT - IRV2 members are the best. I attribute my rapidly growing knowledge to the support I’ve received personally and to the support I’ve learned from that offered to others. I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned in a year, thanks to the generosity of this forum. As an often solo female camper I travel with that much more confidence knowing that help is only a message away.

Being a solo female, I'm amazed at the surprise I encounter in campgrounds when others find out I'm doing this alone. I'm pretty social & often talk with other campers during walks around the loops. Nearly everyone I speak to is very surprised I'm venturing out on my own. It's almost like they expected me to hang up the keys with no man to drive the coach. It's not like I'm not experienced at this thing. Been RV'ing for 20+ years with my late husband. He had his tasks & so did I, but we worked together so I can do all the tasks he did by myself. It takes longer, but I do it. Although, the women are quite impressed & usually say "way to go" or "you go girl".
Do you other ladies encounter the same thing?
