New to us 34G

We picked up our 2019 Precept 34G in Lewisville, TX, and have driven about 800 miles on the way home to CA. Got 7.4 mpg towing an F150. Satisfied with that.

Not satisfied with a couple of other things. The Soundstream system is the worst example of multifunction electronics I've ever encountered.

I am wondering if anyone has replaced theirs,
what you used, did you have to modify the dash, etc

Power stairs.

We are heading to the coast this Friday and now the power stairs motor is going bad. This unit is only 3 years old. Anyone had the same issue? Is there a manual over ride to bring the stairs out once we get them in for travel?

Update on Jayco Precept. Step motor and gear box gone...no steps in and out. Good Sam approved the warranty for this. Now one slide topper tore and then let go; ended up inside the metal holder. Second one of four on the other side is tearing. Condensation from A/C units never runs off the front and rear....always runs across to the slide toppers and drips down (maybe the issue with them tearing?). Floor between toilet and shower in rear bathroom is soft...needs to be replaced. LED lights in awnings stick to them and pull out when you extend the awnings...now only half of them light up. Cabinet doors over head of bed where we store blankets and pillows keep coming off. And there is more. Every trip is a 'new' adventure. This is a 2018 36T. I paid $7000 for a four year warranty when I bought this a year and a half ago.....Good Sam had better honor all of this stuff.

I did cut the wires to the stairs and secured them up for the trip. We set up a temporary step system and about the third time my wife came out everything in our temporary set up let go....she did a face plant on the concrete pad. Thought she had broken her elbow. Loud enough other campers came running over to make sure she was okay. Good news is..no broken bones. Bad news is she is still very sore and swollen two weeks later. New motor and gear box are in courtesy of Good Sam warranty....will be replaced next week.
