Hey guys, so I just bought a 1999 Jayco designer, it’s 27’ long. When I looked it over everything looked good and really taken care of. He ran everything all the lights and everything ran by power works. Well I brought it home and turned the furnace on for a while. As I walked past the batter box I could smell plastic burning. I opened it up and there was a inline fuse wire going from the positive battery into the trailer. The plastic fuse part was melting and smoking and the wires were hot. I did some changes and that wire seems to only get hot when the furnace is on. But the furnace works and runs great. Any guess’s?
