2017 Lincoln MKX - all set up for towing

$26,000.00 None Excellent
Description:

We sold our '06 Bus a year ago and are no longer a part of the RV world. I am reminded every time I use our MKX since it is all set up for towing (Blue Ox base plates, AF1 braking, etc.) 68k miles.

Seems like a waste of a wonderful car, not being used 4-down behind an RV! :-)

Asking $26,000

Contact me if interested.

====================================
The car is an MKX trim level Select. 3.7 liter V6 with 6speed automatic FWD. Interior color is black. The car has just over 68k on the odometer, and we towed only about 6k before our RV days ended. The towed miles do not show on the odometer.

Yes, the FWD 2017 MKX is towable 4-down. There is a very simple procedure when you get ready to leave, and then you must stop every 5 hours and run the engine for a couple of minutes. This is all written up in the owners manual.

And when you have the AF1, hooking up is a snap: just plug in the airline between the coach and the car. You would have to get and install the portion of the AF1 that goes on the coach.

The baseplates and wiring are all standard Blue Ox stuff. We used Blue Ox for all of the years we towed. (Started RVing in 2003.)

We got the MKX since we wanted a towable car, but also because we wanted something nice to drive. The Lincoln works very nice for us. It is our daily driver which we thoroughly enjoy. A lot of towable cars are just .... yuch!

We got the black interior (all leather) since the alternative is the light tan, and which you simply cannot keep from looking soiled. I had a 2004 F150 with the tan interior and it always looked neglected no matter what I did.

Our car has had no problems at all. There have been a couple of recalls, handled by the dealer when we had servicing done. The car has not been involved in any accidents or anything else bad.
