Asking Price Shipping Amount Condition
SOLD! ($96,250.00) None Excellent

LAST CALL:  I will trade this unit in on January 12th. You can buy this awesome rig for the same price the dealer is giving me in trade (Including the sales-tax value) for $96,250. This price is NOT negotiable at all, because it's what I can get by trading it.

Please don't wait: You can pay CASH right up to the trade-in date, here in Sierra Vista, or right at the dealership (La Mesa – Tucson). All other methods to close this sale must be at the bank by January 4th to clear the bank before my trade date.

For sale is our wonderful 2011 Winnebago Journey 34y. We’re the 2nd owners, and she’s 11 years old with only 20,600 Miles. We love this rig, and are only selling because of health reasons. We really want to have this sold before the end of the year! My price is now more than $30,000 below J.D. Powers suggested sale price.

This RV is easy and relaxing to drive, incredibly comfortable to stay in long-term, and nicely new and fresh. It’s so quiet while driving you can converse in a normal voice! All systems work as new, from dash-AC to coach systems. This coach is for cooking! It has a pull-out pantry, full oven, 3 burner stove, and a convection microwave. There’s nothing you can’t cook here, and a Range Hood Vent that actually vents outside!!!

As a retired auto tech, I’ve fixed and upgraded most everything (full list follows). We put 10k miles on this rig in three years (Maine to AZ and back twice; plus local New England trips as well), and were delighted with it in all respects. This rig has not been a “lived in”. The first owners just hardly used it. We wintered over for 5 months in south central AZ in 2020-21; some dry camping and some RV parks. Some of the best features are a big refrigerator, huge tanks, 300 AH of LiFePO4 batteries, lots of solar and 300 Watts of inverter power make this an easy rig to off-grid with. When needed, there’s an 8Kw Onan Diesel Generator which will handle the worst-case loads with exceptionally quiet ease.

We towed a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk, which is available as an additional purchase if you want or as a separate purchase. (I’ll have the listing up by end of day on 11/22/2022). It’s all set-up with a Brake Master air-brake inter-tie so the car actually helps with the stopping.

The Cummins 340 HP Diesel with Allison 6 speed transmission is an amazing team. Set the cruise control and they do the rest. Our MPG varied between 7 and 11 driving 65 most of the time (headwinds are the worst, even than mountains!) The engine exhaust brake is NOT loud, and you can use it all the time to save wear on the brakes.

Safety features include anti-lock brakes with front disk brakes and Side and Rear cameras for lane-change and backing vision. Comfort features include a 6-way power driver’s seat with tilt – extension steering wheel. The passenger has a movable floor panel to cover the stair well while traveling!

Why own a Winnebago? They are the longest standing company, with full support and parts!

Why chose a Freightliner chassis? Because they are the largest truck company with the most service centers, and even independent shops will know how to repair them.

Why chose a Cummins Diesel engine with Allison transmission? Because there is no better engine for power and trouble-free operation.

[These circuits have been separated from the AC units, as they require either generator or shore power under this configuration].

Lighting: All Interior lighting has been converted to LED.

Driving: Debris brush behind the rear wheels to protect the toad from rocks, etc. Replaced the front side marker lights with turn signal marker lights so drivers at your sides can see your signaling!

Mechanical: High-capacity house water pump with expansion tank for better water system performance. New, better quality kitchen sink faucet. Automatic or manual auxiliary fan system for the refrigerator (comes on and helps cool the fridge on HOT days; Definitely works and allows the fridge to be really COLD in really HOT weather!

Comfort: Replaced the jack-knife sofa with twin theater recliners. Replaced the swivel-recliner with a fold-down desk as a work-station.

Maintenance, Repairs, and any issues:

15k chassis and engine service have been completed. Generator 100 hr oil change, and also a coolant replacement have been completed. Roof maintenance has been performed, with new sealants where needed. The TV antennae base was replaced because someone broke the original. Wipers are in excellent shape, as I cover them when not driving, and there’s a new “aero” pair waiting to be installed as soon as these stop working properly. There’s an extensive inventory of spares that are included.

All the tank sensors work properly. There are two power shades for the windshield. The mesh shade motor will not “program”, is therefore not usable. The blackout shade works properly, and provides the driver with an adjustable “visor” and the coach with night time privacy or shade from the hot sun.
